Visit measurement

Google Analytics measures visits to aoex.be. That measurement loads only after an explicit acceptance. If the person refuses, Google Analytics is not loaded and no measurement cookie is set.

The choice, accept or refuse, is remembered on the device under the name aoex-analytics. A banner asks for that choice until it has been given. That store exists to honour the choice. It does not count visits. AOEX does not set an advertising cookie.

Language of the installed app

When the app is installed, the chosen language stays on the device, under the name aoex-lang, so aoex reopens in that language. That store is needed for the site to run. It is not read to count visits.

A copy used to open the site

The browser keeps a copy of the pages and images needed to open aoex, including after installation. Answers from TED, the CBE, and the VAT check are not kept in that copy.

Alert

The address left for the daily alert is not a cookie. It is kept in order to send that list, until the alert is stopped with the link in the message or until deletion is requested at contact@aoex.be.

The token that reopens preferences, under the name aoex-alert-session, stays on the device. It is not a cookie. It does not measure visits.

The site

Consultation of the site is free.

The score sorts notices from the public facts. It does not predict who will be selected and it does not state a chance of winning a contract.

AOEX does not give legal advice.

Open notices come from TED. The company record comes from the public register of the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises.

TED contract-award notices are a separate reading from notices that are still open. A winner or a payable tender amount appears only when the notice publishes it. A framework ceiling is left out. No average, no win rate, and no competitor list is added.

Belgian contracts below the EU thresholds are published on e-Procurement. They are not on aoex, because no open machine access without a BOSA client has been confirmed.

Funding calls that are still open come from the Funding & Tenders portal. An amount, a winner, or a chance of success that was not read there is not added. A CORDIS project is cited only if the published record exists.

Regional aid calls that are still open come from the SPW Recherche table and from the hub.brussels list. An intention date that is still open is shown with that label and is not stored as a final deadline. A call without a published date is not added. No amount and no chance of success are added. Flanders (VLAIO) is not read: no public feed of calls that are still open, readable without a login and without a paid key, was confirmed.
